Meet ‘Kay’ Rodgers
Sakeithea Kay Rodgers is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of TAMS. Kay has 20 years of progressive federal government and contractor experience in human resources. She has dedicated her career to improving the legacy of human resources, increasing the value added from human capital strategist/business partners, and redefining customer service.
Kay is a proud Washingtonian who was educated in DC public schools. She earned her Bachelors of Art in Mass Media Communications while working as a “stay-in-school” student for the former Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). She later earned her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing while transitioning to a career in government contracting.
Kay continued to advance professionally as a Human Resources Specialist. She has held a number of federal and contracting positions in the federal government. Her diverse experience in multiple facets of human resources has enabled her to grow from a stay-in-school student to a Human Resources Director for the Department of Labor and now the CEO of her own consulting firm.
